If you are not familiar with flower remedies and the Bach Flower system, feel free to read this article all about the topic before moving forward. In my practice, I often create personal Bach Flower formulas for my patients, and in this article, I am going to teach you how to do the same!
This system is a clean, pure and powerful way to dissolve emotional barriers and create mental change, which of course influences the physical- making it a great holistic option.
To create a personal mix, first and foremost, make sure you to educate yourself around the system or work with a Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner who can help you select the remedies that best fit you.
To begin, make sure you have the following handy:
- 30 ml bottle with a dropper
- Your selection of remedies (up to 9)
- Spring water
- Preservative, I recommend pure brandy or apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
- First, fill the 30 ml bottle with three parts spring water and one part preservative up to the bottle’s shoulder.
- Second, place 2 drops of each individual remedy into the mixing bottle or 4 drops of rescue remedy.
- Third, close the bottle and swirl it around.
- Fourth, set your intention.
- Fifth and finally, take 4 drops, 4 x a day. Your personal remedy should last between 2 to 3 weeks.
In my practice, I often use Walnut, Centaury, Chestnut Bud, Crab Apple, and Rescue Remedy as a base. Of course each person requires a tailor made combination but I find that these flowers, especially in combination have a unique ability facilitate the healing process.

Thanks for this article, doctor Brooke.
About the cider vinegar option: same quantity of 1/3 of the 30ml?
This protocol is valid for any other kind of vibrational frequencies remedies? (Specifically I’m starting taking remedies from Liberationtheremedy.com which are so expensive and I was asking myself if it’s possible to duplicate them using the same method here explained for Bach flower vibrational essence) Thank you so much for the appreciated answer.
Doctor,
Thank you for this insightful article.
I have this idea of creating my own personal blend for daily use AND my own rescue blend. Using the blending method as you described above.
I would use the rescue blend in the evenings right before sleep, and whenever I wake during the night. I’d stop using it on a permanent basis as soon as my sleep pattern is stabilized. And keep it for emergencies.
But, for now, I’d use two blends. Each consisting of 7 remedies. Would that be too much?
(Day mix:
Crab Apple, Honeysuckle, Oak, Pine, Rock Water, Walnut, Wild Oat)
(Rescue mix:
Agrimony, Aspen, Impatiens, Star of Bethlehem, White Chestnut, Cherry Plum, Clematis)
Thanks so much in advance for your thoughts.
Warmly,
Ilse
