You can balance your hormones naturally by touching base with and personalizing each of these categories as you build out your core protocols and incorporate them into your daily routines! What would you add to this list? #letgoandgrow
🍎 Nutrient-dense diet: fuel your body with a variety of whole foods rich in essential vitamins and minerals while eating balanced meals consisting of carbs, proteins, and fats.
🧘♀️ Regular exercise: engage in regular and consistent physical activity that fits your preferences and lifestyle- aim for at least 20-30 minutes a day most days of the week or 4 minutes every waking hour.
🌙 Quality sleep: prioritize 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep each night to allow your body to rest and regenerate, good sleep hygiene includes a consistent sleep schedule, a dark/cool/quiet bedroom, and avoiding screens before bedtime. If you are having trouble sleeping, you may also want to add in a simple magnesium glycinate or inositol at night before bed (for exact brands and dosages, check our supplement dispensary- link in bio)!
😌 Stress management: incorporate daily practices such as the heart based practice, EFT tapping, pendulation, mindfulness meditation, deep breathing exercises, journaling, spending time in nature, etc.
🌿 Supplement protocol: consider adding specific supplements to your routine to support hormone health- personalizing your supplements based on individual needs and deficiencies can help optimize hormone function. Of course you can supplement with downstream hormones directly, but in my practice, I try to identify the root to replace or work alongside hormone supplementation.
🚫 Eliminate toxins: reduce your exposure to environmental toxins that can disrupt hormone balance- choose organic foods when possible, use natural cleaning and personal care products, turn airplane mode on and avoid materials that can leech harmful chemicals. Sweating and proper digestion and elimination (bowel movements) is also a key part of lowering the toxic burden.
