New Patient Information & FAQs
After the initial visit ($375/ 50-75 min.), which includes two additional hours to create the treatment plan, and case review ($325/ 50-60 min), where the personalized treatment plan is presented, there are several ways to move forward.
Private Practice- (Telehealth-Virtual)
After the initial visit and case review, where the personalized treatment plan is presented, there are a few options moving forward. Retainer sessions are focused and tailored to your individual needs, built as a place to reflect, review and dive deeper at an accelerated rate.
- Private Practice- Monthly Retainer Program: After the case review, you have the option to join the monthly retainer program to receive one guaranteed full-length appointment each month through our telemedicine-based virtual video platform along with 20% off supplements, priority response times, unlimited questions through email, and more ($225/ a month, charged on the first of each month). This brings the typical full-length price of $325 to $225 a session. If you choose to have a second appointment for the month, your second session will be priced at $175 for a full-length appointment. This is a great option if you are looking to come in once a month or bi-weekly. Here, you can opt-out at any time, but if you would like to join the program again, there will be a $100 fee to re-enroll.
- Private Practice- Weekly Retainer Program: After the case review, we offer a weekly retainer program ($625/ at the beginning of every 4 sessions), where we meet once a week for a full-length apt. This brings the typical full-length price of $325 to $156.25 a session. Weekly Retainer members receive 20% off supplements, priority response times, unlimited questions, and more.
- Private Practice- As Needed Appointments: After the case review process, we offer full-length appointments ($325) as needed. These appointment types are virtual video visits that we can schedule and build out to meet your needs and health goals. Most of my patients choose to dive in weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. However, I also have patients that I see once a quarter, every six months and so forth.
Our office is dedicated to supporting your health during our regular business hours (Monday-Thursday) from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm ET and 2 pm – 6:15 pm ET. The most efficient way to reach us is through email, and we strive to respond within 48 office hours. For last-minute appointment matters (such as running 5 minutes late or rescheduling) or technical issues, you can text us at 407-341-6592.
In addition to our services, we recommend that patients have access to and collaborate with a conventional primary care doctor. By doing so, we can focus on our scope of practice and work more efficiently together through a unique combination of mindset, diet, and lifestyle shifts, along with helpful, natural remedies that can support the healing process and facilitate the changes discussed in our sessions.
For crisis care and emergency situations, we also recommend having a plan in place to access immediate support for urgent health matters. Since conventional treatment and crisis care is not within our scope of practice, having a plan in place can ensure comprehensive support for your well-being.
Each patient is unique in what they require outside of session. Most additional fees include lab testing which typically ranges from $250-$495 + our lab review fee to cover administration costs ($75). Supplements are also paid for outside of session, and fees here can vary from person to person based on their plan.
Administrative work requested 6 weeks after an appointment is not guaranteed and may be subject to an administrative fee.
I currently see the majority of my patients through our simple to use telemedicine platform through virtual video visits, which you will receive the link to before your first visit. All you have to do is click the link and make sure you have a great wi-fi connection. From here, we will dive right in just like an in person visit.
Although we do not accept insurance at this time, as a courtesy, our office does provide superbills to submit for reimbursement or that can work towards your deductible. Superbills are provided upon request as a courtesy and we will do our best to get them to you. We also accept Healthcare Savings Accounts (HSA and FSA), if either of those are options for you.
For lab testing, we use professional co-op to run a personalized, comprehensive bioscreen through blood and urine. We also have the capacity to run other specialty tests! Check here to look through some options.

Private Practice FAQs
My specialty lies in the approach I take, the journey of the consultation and the transformation my patients experience within the framework of Holistic Counseling, Functional and Eastern Medical Principles. My primary objective is to bring you into balance by helping you let go of, learn from and transform the challenges in your life so that you can live life to the fullest and experience your full potential. I do this by working on the following 4 aspects of your life.
1. Foundation: here we build a solid, strong and resilient foundation, so that later we can build a framework that will be able to withstand all challenges as we fine tune accordingly.
2. Relationships: here we work on the relationship you have with yourself, family, friends, your body, life, thoughts, feelings, food, etc.
3. Mental & Emotional: this is where we transform your perspective, clear issues, release the old and bring in the new through unique affirmations and other exercises.
4. Physiological: here we look through a physiological lens, identify your body’s imbalances and treat them accordingly through personalized nutrition, supplements, environmental and lifestyle changes that optimize your systems.
Although I am confident in working with a wide variety of issues and conditions because I see the whole person (their body, mind and life as one), I have extensive experience and training in helping women with the following:
Personal Growth and Development
High Performance
Mental and Emotional Well Being
Women’s Health
Functional Medicine is simply evidence based medicine focused on the patient.
Functional Medicine is focused on patient centered care and addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms.
Functional Medicine practitioners spend time with their patients, listening to their histories and looking at the interactions among genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and complex, chronic disease. In this way, Functional Medicine supports the unique expression of health and vitality for each individual, as it looks beyond just the absence of disease.
Functional Medicine practitioners look “upstream” to consider the complex web of interactions in the patient’s history, physiology, and lifestyle that can lead to illness. The unique genetic makeup of each patient is considered, along with both internal (mind, body and spirit) and external (physical and social environment) factors that affect total functioning.
Functional Medicine integrates traditional Western medical practices with what are sometimes considered “alternative” or “integrative” medicine, creating a focus on prevention through nutrition, diet, and exercise; use of the latest laboratory testing and other diagnostic techniques; and prescribed combinations of botanical medicines, supplements, therapeutic diets, detoxification programs, or stress-management techniques.
Acupuncture is actually part of Chinese Medicine which is a complete system in it of itself. Chinese Medicine is much like Functional Medicine in that is looks at the whole person, their choices, and underlying patterns.
The World Health Organization states that acupuncture itself has been proven effective in the treatment of over 40 health conditions- including in the treatment of mental/ emotional, musculoskeletal, reproductive, genitourinary, neurological, respiratory, gastrointestinal, digestive, endocrine disorders, addiction, pain management and more.
Acupuncture has been proven time and time again to optimize blood flow, decrease inflammation, improve immunity and reduce pain.
According to the National Institute of Health (NIH), many studies in both animals and humans have demonstrated that acupuncture can cause multiple physiological responses, both locally at the site of insertion and at a distance through sensory neurons to structures within the central nervous system. Acupuncture points are areas of electrical sensitivity that have been clinically effective in the treatment of specific health conditions. This response leads to the activation of pathways that affect the brain and all systems in the periphery.
Acupuncture may also activate the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, which results in a wide range of systemic effects. One of the most important functions of the hypothalamus is to link the nervous system to the endocrine system via the pituitary gland.
The hypothalamus also controls body temperature, hunger, thirst, fatigue, and circadian cycles. The pituitary gland, called the ‘master’ gland of the endocrine system, controls the functions of other endocrine glands and produces certain hormones like growth hormone, TSH to stimulate to the thyroid gland, and ACTH to stimulate the adrenal glands.
From an eastern perspective, acupuncture moves and balances qi, which restores proper function and health. Acupuncture treatments are cumulative, where the benefits of each treatment build upon the previous one. Over time, the body’s immune system and all other systems improve their function and ability to work harmoniously.
The foundation of Oriental medicine is that Qi (pronounced chee) flows through the body through channels known as meridians that connect and influence all of our major organs. A harmonious balance, or homeostasis, is maintained in each system and organ if Qi is abundant and flowing freely. Qi is defined as the ‘life force’ or ‘vital substance’ or ‘oxygen’ that controls the energy and function of all living beings. According to Chinese medical theory, illness arises when the flow of Qi becomes unbalanced or is blocked.
